I am a northwest,former farm girl/now artist in the city, who spent her formative years picking her dinner vegetables year round from her parent’s garden. I never knew canned asparagus which my husband once grossly described and thus made me realize that growing up in the valley with tall evergreens and a temperate growing climate was, and still is,  a joyful life.  I am here to embrace the joie de vivre of harvesting, cooking and eating.
